Therapeutic Effect of aclatonium napadisilate (Aclaton^(®)) in the postoperat ve Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders

Abstract
|
|
|
Authors has been analized and evaluated the clinical therapeutic effetiveness and side eff: cts of Aclatonium napadisilate.(Aclaton®) for the fifty -six patients associated with postoperative fun, ional gastrointestinal disorders after intraabdominal operation during last three months in Department of S gery, Medical college, Chungnam National University.
The results were as follows:
1) All patients were given one or two capsules of 25mg Aclationium napadisilate (Aclaton®) three times a day by oral for one or two weeks.
2) The effectiveness of subjective symptoms in two weeks were upper abdominal discomfort 90.2% loss appetite 86.5%, abdominal fullness 88.2%, belching 87.5%, nausea 93.1%, heartburn 74.1%, di. rrhea 77.8%, constipation 85.7%, vomiting 66.7% of the cases respectively.
3) Overall effectiveness were: excellent 16 cases 29.6%, good 26 cases 48.1%, fair 9 cases 16.7 not effective 3 cases 5.6% respectively.
4) Side effect were noted, abdominal pain in two cases and diarrhea in one case respectively but those were not so significant. After discontinuing of medication those were subsided.
5) There were no significant changes on physical and laboratory finding after administration of aclat i nium napadisilate.
